Meet Megan Mulvey, Founder & Cancer Survivor.

In October 2023, life changed in an instant when I was diagnosed with leukemia. What followed was a whirlwind of hospital stays, 51 rounds of chemotherapy, and ultimately, a life-saving bone marrow transplant. For months, my world became a fight for survival — away from my children, my home, and the normal life I once knew. Through every grueling day, one constant kept me going: community. My family, friends, and the CrossFit family I had built over the years, surrounded me with love, encouragement, and unwavering support. CrossFit didn’t just help me regain my strength physically — it became a source of hope and a reminder that I wasn’t in this fight alone. Out of that experience, Box of Hope was born. I know firsthand the emotional, physical, and financial toll that cancer takes, not just on the person battling it, but on their entire family. My mission is to lift some of that weight for others walking the same road — so they can focus on healing, making memories, and holding onto hope. Today, I’m grateful to be cancer-free, back with my husband Scott and our two children, Dallas and Hannah, and using my second chance at life to serve others. Box of Hope is my way of turning pain into purpose — and I am honored to stand beside every family we help in the fight against cancer.
